Cruise Whitsundays is the largest marine operator in the Whitsundays region offering incredible cruises and connections to the islands in the area. Aeroaus joined the Camira team for a day out on the water, capturing a collection of images to showcase the experience of the Whitsundays sailing adventure.
Cruise Whitsundays is part of Australia’s leading experiential tourism group Journey Beyond, who’s main focus is to bring Australia’s most iconic and unique experiences to life.
The shoot
Departing from Airlie Beach, the Aeroaus team set off on the Camira, an 85ft speedy catamaran, cruising past Daydream, Hamilton and Hook Islands. The full experience of the day was shot, including underwater photography snorkelling in the azure blue waters of the Whitsundays and aerial photography of the Camira docked at Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island.

Aeroaus delivered a package of digital assets for Cruise Whitsundays and Journey Beyond to use in their marketing.
The aerial image of Hill Inlet on Whitehaven Beach was featured as a double page spread in Journey Beyond’s first issue of their new premium lifestyle magazine.
